Pine Street Kindergarten Goes to the Fire Station

Macy had a school field trip to the fire station just before spring break. When Chris heard about it he said he'd never been to one before and wanted to go, so he went as a parent volunteer!
They visited the new station in Sherwood Park. The first crew got called out right as they were arriving, so the on call guys were brought in and they still got their tour.
 Captain Macy!
Chris reported it was a great trip!

Pretty In Pink

Macy was decked out in pink for her Valentine's Party at school and I had some fun snatching pictures of the girls!

Dreaming

Like my boat?!
Chris and I snuck off with Tessa one Saturday afternoon to the Edmonton Sportsman Show. We had some fun dreaming. I liked the shimmery blue of this one!

Too cool for school...or church!!

Tessa, 3 months.

A rare "selfie"

Tessa's Blessing

Since my Mom and Dad were visiting we took advantage of it and blessed Tessa on Sunday, February 7, 2016. We decided to do a celebration dinner the night before on Saturday evening since we have afternoon church and many people would be travelling right after. I'm glad we did. Grandparents Lamont and the Leishman family came for dinner. We had BBQ beef on a bun with salads, chips, and veggies. We had junk bar, cookies, and cream puffs for dessert. It was great to visit with everyone and have the cousins play. We did the candy bar game which everyone loved and everyone got some candy.
Sunday was Tessa's big day. The Steve Lamont family, The Leishman's, both sets of Grandparents, and my good friend Natasha were present. Chris blessed Tessa and both Grandpa's, Fraser, and Steve were in the circle. It was a lovely blessing.
We managed to sneak a few family pictures in with us as a family of five.
Grandma and Grandpa Cutts left that evening. We're so glad they came, along with the Leishman's who traveled from Claresholm, AB. We are lucky to have such great and supportive family!

Grandma and Grandpa Cutts Visit

We were lucky to have my Mom and Dad come for the weekend at the beginning of February. They flew in Friday evening and me and the girls picked them up at the airport. Chris met us back home and had pizza and pop ready for us (like normal, we all ate way too much this weekend!)
Saturday we celebrated Grandma's birthday! Grandpa made Rubens, oh so good, and I made a black forest cake.
The cake even had money, and Macy found a twoonie in her piece! We were all glad Grandma decided to celebrate her birthday with us!
After our yummy lunch and a nap for Rachel, we went swimming at the Kinsmen Pool. It was awesome. This is the pool Macy has swimming lessons at, so they have fewer public swim times, and we haven't gone before. It was less busy, had a great water slide, a tarzan rope and diving boards. Lots of fun, we will go to that location again!
