Macy's Baptism - September 1, 2018

We were very happy to celebrate Macy's decision to be baptized! Chris baptized her on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Sherwood Park Chapel. There were three others baptized the same day, Tristan and Cadence from our ward and another girl from the Nottingham Ward. With it being organized by the Stake we were very lucky to have so many family members participate. Grandma Cutts played the piano, Auntie Jen lead the music, and Grandpa Cutts gave a wonderful talk on the Holy Ghost. Those in the confirmation circle were Chris, Grandpa Cutts, Papa Lamont, Uncle Steve, Uncle Fraser, and Bishop Mosaico.

Grandpa and Grandma Cutts came for the weekend and we had a great visit with them. After the baptism Nana and Papa Lamont, the Steve Lamont family, the Leishman's, the Fixsen's, and Natasha came over for Cafe Rio Pork and visiting. We love you Macy and are so proud of your decision to be baptized!

Falcon Lake 2018 - Shared Album

We created a shared photo album for everyone to add some favourite pictures throughout the week. Here are just a few!

Falcon Lake 2018

The party continues! Now we have Chris with us and we're so glad for that. After a few days recovery in Headingley, we left again for a week in Falcon Lake, Manitoba at Big Buffalo Resort. Joining us were Grandma and Grandpa Cutts and The Lemon Family.

We each had our own cabin which was great for a little privacy but kept us close. We spent our days down at the beach, boating, skiing, tubing, hiking, horseback riding, gambling (!!?) exploring and more. It was an amazing week that flew by. Some highlights were boating to the middle of the lake and putting out the lily pad, rope swinging, a delicious date night for Jill, Taylor, Chris and I, Kenora Fries, removing Caleb's stitches, running with Elizabeth, s'mores, Wednesday night Bingo, and lots of cousin time!

Day Trip to La Crosse, Wisconsin

Just in case we weren't having too much fun, and hadn't spent enough time in the van, we spent the Saturday before we left Lino Lakes taking a day trip to La Crosse to visit Uncle Richard and family. It was a great day. I was amazed at myself for being able to drive home awake after so much fun. We ate at Rudy's Drive-In, visited the Shrine of Our Lady Guadalupe, hit the beach with swimming, boating, and tubing, got rained out, ate pizza, and of course, played with cousin! It was definitely worth it!
