Five Weeks!

It is time to place your bets! When will our baby be born and what sex will it be? Post in comments what your bet is.
What I know: Computer due date is August 6th, 2010. Doctors due date when we had our first appointment with him in March is August 7th, 2010. Not once has a doctor or ultra-sound tech commented on the size of the baby, if it seemed big or small or early or late. I have been working out (cardio and weights) at lease three times a week throughout the entire pregnancy which some studies suggest will produce a smaller baby early or on-time. So...basically what I know if pretty much no help. I just hope it isn't too late! Good Luck!

Absolute Annihilation

Two weeks ago Chris and I got free tickets from my work to go to Castrol Raceway for their Absolute Annihilation night. We got there early and watched a few drag races before the event began. We watched various rally car races and bus and ambulance races, plus they did a few car drops and lit some cars on fire. It was a great event, especially because it was free!

The Matress Race - the driver and one passenger had to hold onto the matress as they raced. After they auctioned the matresses off, new Queen Sealy Pillow Top - some people got quite the deal.













The buses racing - the grey one apparently didn't have any breaks. I think the bus races were among the best because they would slide into eachother and really put on a show for the audiance.

Wedding Weekend

Last weekend was the last family wedding for Chris and I as his younger brother Steve got married. The weather was beautiful, but maybe a little too hot. Good thing for air conditioned vehicles.

It is a goal of mine to get a nice picture of Chris and I, because we don't really have any since our own wedding. This is probably the best we got, and I'm still trying to get something a little better. But it is a good belly picture. Baby is definitly growing!

Me and Anderson...what can I say, but this kid loves me, and I love him, he is at a very fun age (four) and we have fun together at family gatherings.

World Cup

Ever since Friday the computers at work have been very slow. An email was sent out today about listening to the radio on your computer because it takes up too much bandwidth. However, the culprit came clean and he wasn’t listening to the radio, but watching the World Cup! He is now in the process of trying to set up another way to watch the games while at work, but I’m not sure how well that will go over! Anyway, it reminded me to check the ESPN online games we are playing and right now I am winning! Woo Hoo! (Well, Jamie and I are tied)

In other soccer news, Chris’ spring league finished last night. I hear it was a very close game, and after being undefeated all season, they lost their first game and came second in the league. What’s most disappointing about it all….Chris missed out on getting the free league champ t-shirt!! There is always summer league!

Free Stuff

Today I got in the mail the first (of hopefully much more) free baby stuff. Nestle sent me formula samples, a bottle, and diaper bag. Exciting! Two more months to go. I am very ready to not be pregnant any more, but I don't know how ready I am to be a mom (weird)! But I am hoping these last 8 and 1/2 weeks go quickly...and aren't too hot!

It's a Jungle Out There

On Saturday Chris and I put up the animal wall boarder in the baby's room. It is starting to come together!!

I am not completely finished with the room, but the essentials are there.

This picture picture even has the baby in it! I think it'll be happy with it's room!
