Back To School August 30, 2017

Back to school for Macy! Grade Two with Mrs Koshal.
Rachel went back a couple days later. Second year of Pre School and a new school, Madonna Catholic School with Teacher Ria.
Picture day not long after the first week back.
The bus stop crew, Anton, Kallie, Rachel, Tessa, Macy.
And since Macy dressed up, so did Rachel, even though it wasn't picture day. What a great smile!
Mom and Dad celebrate going back to school with Regrub Milkshakes..yum! Plus we had just purchased a King Size bed!!

End of Summer!

We crammed in a few last trips to the spray park, and playground before heading back to school.
And a favorite activity, swimming at the Pizzey pool!
We then hosted our Annual Backyard Games. We're blessed with great friends and the afternoon was a success with the Anderson Family taking home the Champion Cup!
 Hot dog eating contest, haha!

MEC Triathlon 2017

Two good friends and I "trained" all summer and did a MEC Triathlon at the end of August. This is my second. I love triathlons, they are just fun to race and fun to transition between each sport.
I've got a great cheering squad and Chris and the girls rotated throughout the race supporting and taking pictures. Thank you!
Just about ready to start. We wore ankle chip timers, and I was waiting for a lane to become available.
Chris is great and capturing lots of moments. See me in the lane below?
 On to the bike!
 Yay for the cheering squad!
Transitioning to the run.
 Woohoo! Finished!
 Leslie, Stephanie, and me!

Lake of the Woods August 2017

We just arrived home from our 2018 Summer vacation and it was full of adventures and good memories. These are the photos from 2017. We stopped at the Visitor's Center on our drive out for Kenora fries and a picnic lunch. We met up with Tom's family (minus Aunt Julie and Peter) and all boated out to Onieda.
Our holiday was full of swimming and playing on the lilypad, tubing, water skiing (I tried to drop a ski but just wiped out a bunch of times, Chris was successful slalom skiing), a trip to the Kenora Farmers market, rainy days, and sunny days, a visit with Doug and Corinne, a trip to Longbow Lake, delicious food, and great memories!
Hold tight to that cereal Tessa!
 Eden is too cool.
It's not a trip to the lake without boating in the rain!
 Kenora Farmer's Market
 Like father, like daughter.
 Heading out to Longbow Lake.
We left all the grandkids with Grandma and Grandpa. Super babysitters!
Good holidays are full of good food and good company!
