On Sunday Chris and I got our first callings in the ward. I’m on the Compassionate Service Committee in the Relief Society and Chris is the Proclaiming the Gospel Chair in the Elders Quorum. I guess all Chris has to do for his calling is teach a lesson once every three months about Preach my Gospel. I’d say if we’re going to get callings, these ones aren’t too bad.
I also found out from Chris there is a guy from Lilydale (the turkey slaughter house) who is in our ward. I haven’t met him yet, but I’m hoping too. I knew that somebody there had to be a member! And he is actually from Ecuador too; I’ll have to find out where.
