Last weekend was the May long weekend for us Canadians. It turned out that Chris didn't have to work, so we went camping from Saturday to Monday. The weather was great. Saturday was almost +30 C. It rained a little Sunday morning and was kinda windy, but considering some May long weekends it snows, I was grateful. We were next to some rowdy 18 year olds, which got a little trying, but you take what you can get I guess.
Chris and I with red faces and gross camping hair.
Just in case you forgot what we look like, some close ups. I did get my hair cut. I'll have to post nicer hair pictures later.
They had this large chess board, which I kicked Chris' butt on. It was pretty cool. We had a few on lookers, but nobody that stayed and watched, which was good, cause we definitly aren't chess masters.
Chris sad, cause I beat him. Notice his fallen king?!
Me, victorious. Yes I know I'm very white. In some countries fair skin is quite desirable.
My delicious s'more. I LOVE campfire s'mores. Once the cookbook is finished you will see I've submitted it as a recipe. This one I'm devouring is actually a double s'more....oops, I'm drooling on Chris' keyboard.
And here is Chris with his fire. It was pretty big for a while. It was his baby.

The chess board looks really cool, almost like wizards chess. I must be the only Cutts not to receive the camping if fun gene.
Chris -- you let a girl beat you!? BTW, you still owe me one more game of RISK, Valerie.
don't worry taylor, i am aware and you will get your risk game.
Chris thought it looked like wizards chess too, he was hoping the could kick and throw the pieces around when killing. and don't worry john, i'm not a 'real' camper. i like air mattresses, propane stoves, and hopefully one day a camper trailer!
oh yes, and chris wanted you all to note is nice truck in the smore picture. 2008 Chev Silverado.
