May Long Weekend

Chris and I had a nice, quiet long weekend. With the move, starting work, and taking a class, it was very enjoyable to have a weekend with no plans but to relax. On Friday Chris and I went go-karting and did a few rounds at the batting cage. Unfourtunately I forgot to bring my drivers license with me, so we couldn't ride the super big and powerful go-karts, but it was still fun. Saturday I worked on a paper for my class and Chris finally finished fixing his bike. In the afternoon we biked to the library and back which took us about 50 minutes round trip. Sunday at church I found out that there are three families in our ward that live just down our street. Two of them have young kids/babies, and one has no kids. We've only been to ward three times so far but I get a good vibe from it. I think we will like it and fit right in. Today neither of us had to work because of the Victoria Day holiday. I finished my school paper and Chris spent the day with his brother. They went and saw the new Star Trek, very action packed apparently.
Anyhow, so here are some pictures from us prepping to ride the go-karts. Don't mess with Chris!

I also watched it last night. (Julie decided it was one she could sit out)

I also enjoyed it...but Dad and I are fans of the original TV series. I liked the humor.
