Alarms and Earphones
When I got to my car this morning to go to work, I put my key in the door to unlock it, and all of a sudden this car alarm goes off. I’m thinking what the heck, we don’t have a car alarm, or even one of those keyless entries where you can press a button to set an alarm off. I look it around, and it’s for sure my car that has the alarm. I tried to start the car and it wouldn’t start. Chris had just left for school at the same time, so I run around to the front of the building to try and catch him, and he’s half way up the block. I’m running and I’m yelling his name like an idiot, but he’s got those stupid head phones in listening to his ipod. I finally catch up with him at the end of the block and tell him what’s happening. He said he heard the alarm, but thought nothing of it since we don’t have a car alarm. By the time we both get back to the car it’s stopped. We try again and the car started with no problem. Cookey! I guess we’ve got some real good security system that even the owners don’t know about it!

Are you sure it was your car? I've tried to take a car that wasn't mine before because it looked like mine.
Chris drives with headphones in? That is a serious liability.
Chris walks to school. WE only have 1 car.
And yes I'm sure it was my car!
Wait, Chris walks to school. I thought you guys lived pretty far from the school. How long does it take him to walk? What happened to your truck? Was that just a work vehicle for the summer?
Oh I didn't realize he was walking in your story. I was really impressed that you caught up with a car. Thought maybe you were the Bionic Woman or something! You probably still are... :)
It takes Chris about 20-25 minutes to walk, depending on where his classes are. But its good exercise. The truck was only for the summer job. Don't mention it to Chris, he's having a hard time getting over the loss of it.
Are you sure you weren't on Candid Camera?
Yeah they do film the show Just for Laughs in Canada. (That's the new Candid Camera)
I actually thought about that when I got home from work. Maybe someone set something off when I got to the car, but I'm pretty sure it actually was my car because the lights were blinking too. Plus no one with a camera came out. Though I really would've looked crazy on TV!
