Just to remind everyone that Lent begins this Wednesday. It seems a little early, I know, so I didn't want anyone to miss it. This year I'm giving up the usual chocolate and also fast food. One day I would like to do the no desserts at all like the Lemons, but I think I would need more support from my other half before I tried that one. Chris is giving up McDonalds again...and maybe fast food in general. I'm not sure.
What else are people giving up?

Well, like Valerie said we are giving up sweets/dessert/chocolate. It is usually hard at the beginning (detox) but we feel better by the end. Good luck to everyone.
I think I will give up being pregnant. Yeah, I'll do that. I just have to make sure that she comes by Wednesday.
Instead of giving up something can I just add something? I think I will add working on getting my house re-done. I will do something every day even if it's small.
I'm going to give up doughnuts, cookies, and soda pop. Just the common sugary things I tend to like to eat. I have to leave room for some sort of treat.
I'm giving up fastfood, frozen food, and I'm going to try and have vegtables with each dinner. I know shocking.
Good luck with that one James. I know how you and vegetables get along. FYI - ketchup isn't considered a vegetable. Hopefully you will come out of this veggie experience alive and cancer free. ha ha :)
James I am so impressed, and so pleased. You also give me some hope. Knowing your past and resistance to vegtables, gives me hope that one day a certain husband of mine will also start on that path to a healthier and happier lifestyle!
