It's that time of year where classes are over and finals are starting...plus finding a job. First, the finals. Both Chris and I had one last week which was nice to get one out the way. Officially finals week begins today. Chris has one tomorrow so he is studying like mad. I have two this week and two next, and then freedom! Woo hoo. We are both very exciting to start working again. I don't think Chris loves anything more than his job with his fancy vehicles...(well hopefully me!). As for myself and working...well I think I will probably go back to the place I was before I started school. I had applied at a couple of insurance offices close to our place and was excited when I had an interview today at one just two blocks away. Well, the interview was going well and I pretty much had the job and then the subject of pay came up. Since I was just to be a summer employee he offered $10 and hour. Ten bucks!! Thats it. I was so shocked. I am still a licensed agent, and at my old job I was making way, way, way more than that! Plus, we're in a bit of a labor shortage here in Alberta, I could work at McDonalds or Tim Hortans for more than $10/hour. Needless to say I won't be taking the job. All day though I've been thinking, ten bucks...wow, that guy needs a bit of a reality check, cause he'll never employ someone for that low.
I even got all dressed up for my interview.
Chris, my human dishwasher. Oh how I love him. (I wonder if a year ago today, when he proposed, he imagined he'd be washing so many dishes?!!?)

Yeah, Chris -- that's exactly how I felt when I washed dishes, too. Wait...I don't think I did the wash dishes. Needless to say, we love our dishwasher.
I don't know Taylor, we have a dishwasher and I still wash a lot of dishes and clean up the kitchen. But I can't complain too much because Alicia does all the cooking.
Yeah - I'm pretty sure Taylor DID NOT wash dishes. Although, I do have to say, I prefer to clean the kitchen by myself because than it is put away the way I want it. The bathroom, is another story. I would certainly be glad for Taylor to clean that!
Jill -- is that a hint? (I'll be done with school in a month. Then, I'll clean the bathroom every day!)
