Today while I was out driving the car in front of me had the license plate "Momakat". Perfect for our own mother.

Good Food Critics

Last night the missionaries came for supper and just raved about the food, even if they were being polite, it sure made me feel good. We had homemade sweet and sour meatballs with rice, and moms cauliflower with white sauce and cheese (which is what received the most raving). For dessert I made brownies, it was the first time I've ever made them from scratch. They turned out good, but tasted a little more like cake then brownies. I tried to give as much brownie away though, so I wouldn't be tempted, this biggest loser keeps me on my toes.

This is my new pure executive leather chair I got from mom and dad for Christmas. It is so comfortable, I don't mind studying so much anymore!

Hobbies

This is one of Chris' hobbies completed. We've gotten a couple of theses puzzles for $3.00 at value village, and one hadn't even been opened. Inexpensive hobbies are always a bonus.

Curling

Last night I had a dream I was curling at the rink we curled at Christmas and in my dream I knew I would be good because I had just been curling. Unfourtunatly, my dream ended and I won't ever know if I was a better 'dream' curler.

Sound and Light Show

Last night a little before midnight I was woken up by this continual engine reving from outside. I sleep with ear plugs and could still hear this, so it was pretty loud. I laid in bed for a while hoping it would soon stop. Finally, very irritated, I got up and looked out our window to see whats up. Two buildings down from ours, some pickup truck was stuck in their parking stop and 4 people were out trying to push it free to no avail. It just kept reving, and reving. Chris was up two and we were talking about how someone should call the police about a noise complaint. A little bit later Chris sees the flashing lights of a police car coming down our back alley. He stopped at the truck and the reving stopped. We watched a little longer to see what would happen. Soon another police car came and two were there for a while. The second car left and we went back to bed, not seeing what finally happened, but enjoying some peace and quiet....well until Chris started snoring...

Open House

The 'J squared' open house was fabulous. The food was great, it was a comfy atmosphere, and the company topped it off. Thanks James and Jamie for giving us a reason to party.

A little lopsided

While in Winnipeg I got my nails done with Amy and visited the dentist to have two cavities filled. These are the results of both of those outings!
