Good Food Critics

Last night the missionaries came for supper and just raved about the food, even if they were being polite, it sure made me feel good. We had homemade sweet and sour meatballs with rice, and moms cauliflower with white sauce and cheese (which is what received the most raving). For dessert I made brownies, it was the first time I've ever made them from scratch. They turned out good, but tasted a little more like cake then brownies. I tried to give as much brownie away though, so I wouldn't be tempted, this biggest loser keeps me on my toes.

Valerie, I'm pretty sure you made homemade brownies for a fireside one time. This same time you didn't preheat the oven and so the brownies were cooked on the outside, but sort of like pudding on the inside. I remember Marty Pepin and myself really liking it.
