Christmas 2018

Grandma and Grandpa Lamont came for Christmas Eve and slept over to spend Christmas morning with us too. I was sick leading up to Christmas and was hoping it would be past, but I hit my low on Christmas Day. I barely made it through opening gifts! Probably why we have very few pictures! However, everyone still had a good time and once again we were very blessed with lots of Christmas gifts and goodies!

November and December 2018

Tessa Turns Three!!

No more baby for us! Officially three and officially a big girl. The weather was beautiful so just her and I got to play at the new park while the older girls were at school. We had Pizza and Black Forest cake and of course presents! The day after was Tessa's Special Helper day at preschool. It was fun for me to come in and volunteer in the class and see her with her friends.

Rachel Turns 5!!!

A couple days before her birthday we celebrated with friends on Saturday November 3, 2018. Rachel chose a Unicorn Birthday Party and had a great time crafting, dancing, eating pizza and cupcakes, and playing with so many of her friends from school and church. I love 5 year old birthday parties. The kids are all so excited to be there, old enough to listen and do activities, and young enough to be happy with everything!

Rachel's birthday was on Wednesday November 7th which was an off day for her kindergarten class. Our biggest surprise came from a call from our doctor for Rachel, Chris, and I to go to the Stollery Hospital Pediatric Diabetes Clinic. The day before we had been at our family doctor for an ear infection and what I thought was a bladder infection. Boy were we wrong. Within 20 minutes of arriving Rachel was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. As this is a birthday post, I won't go into much detail. We had no idea how much our lives were about to change. Thankfully we made it home in time to still celebrate Rachel's birthday. McDonalds, birthday cake, and presents! We are so grateful to have Rachel in our family. She is brave, funny, thoughtful, and strong. We love you!

Halloween 2018

From the pumpkin run to class parties and trick or treating. This was our Halloween!
