Summer Fun July 2017

 One Saturday morning when Christ was working the girls and I went with Grandma Lamont to the Strathcona Farmer's Market. It was a beautiful sunny day. We rode the trolley, had some fresh veggies, and most importantly, mini donuts, cotton candy, and kettle corn! Thanks Grandma!!

 Taste of Edmonton - for sure my favourite summer event. It was a rainy cool Monday night, but that meant the crowds were few. We had a great date night with the Fixsens.

 One summer day took us on a transit adventure to visit Chris downtown at work. We took the double decker bus and had a great time checking out the city from our upper level views.

Val's Birthday

Chris did a super job this year on my birthday breakfast. He woke up early to go and get special birthday doughnuts at "Doughnut Party" a gourmet shop (side note: they weren't actually anything spectacular..kind of disappointed). After sugaring ourselves up with doughnuts and corn pops, we went to Queen E outdoor pool with Natasha for water fun and a picnic lunch.

 When I arrived home from swimming my bestest friend Leslie had left me a sweet note! (too bad the streamers fell)

 Chris and I went out for dinner at Browns Social Club. Again, just ok. Well..it would have been better except that my fish tacos were too spicy for me. We stopped at Dairy Queen and got ice cream cupcakes and a Treatza Pizza....because we needed more sugar!

It was a great day and I felt totally spoiled!

O Canada! July 1, 2017

 One of my favorite days of the year. If you know us, you know we went to the Legislature Grounds for free pancake breakfast, we soaked up the sun and played in the pools. We checked out the activities across the grounds, and then we came home and napped!

June 2017....it's almost summer!!

June starts with Jersey Day and Macy's wear a classic of mine :)

Cousin's visit and play together. Tessa, Rachel, Macy, Clark, Daphne, Paisley, Scarlet, Aurora, and Bruce.

 Paisley comes for a sleepover.

 (While writing this, it's April 2nd and it's snowed every day this last week and was -15 C this morning :( I am craving warm weather again!!!)

 Poor Tessa was sick in this picture. I remember her and I stayed home from a family dinner in Beaumont. Tessa had been throwing up and just had a bath a lay totally spent on the ground. I remember sitting and looking at this 1.5 year old and realizing she is no longer a baby!

Father's Day Building Project

Chris and Rachel had a fun evening before Father's Day spent at Rachel's preschool building and having fun together!
