Three girls?!! No problem!!

Bath Time!

Tessa at 2.5 months.
She's too cute to just pick one!

Winter Fun Day

We've had a mild winter and have enjoyed being able to go and play outside. One Saturday in January we went to the park with the 'big coloured slides' at Macy's request. It's Kinsmen park, and even though the weather was great, we basically had the place to ourselves. Tessa just slept in the stroller like the dream baby she is!

After our outdoor play we warmed up at Boston Pizza. It was a great family day!

Date Night

My friend and wonderful visiting teacher, Kelly Pizzey offered to watch the girls one week night so Chris and I could go out. It was so nice of her. We took advantage of it and went out to State & Main, one of my favorites that Chris hadn't been too. He got the grilled cheese burger and I got Haddock and Fries. Yum!

Aunt Jill Visits!

I was so excited when my favorite sister Jill booked her tickets to come visit us in early January. She stayed for 10 days, and while her family missed her, we LOVED having her stay. Just two days ago Macy said she wished Aunt Jill could live with us. When I said that her family would miss her, Macy's solution was that she take a picture of her family, and then come live with us anyway. Ha ha! Aunt Jill told Macy she could take a picture of her family and come live with her. I'm thinking I'll remember that offer during the teenage years!
Anyways, we were terrible with pictures, her are the few we took on her last day!
Jill was such a wonderful guest. The girls loved her (not to mention her ipad). She woke up with them every morning and got them breakfast which allowed me to sleep in a little. She held Tessa all the time and changed lots of diapers. She made us delicious meals, and babysat all three girls so Chris and I could go to the movies (we saw Star Wars, so good!), and so I could volunteer at Macy's school. We did do some fun things for Jill too. Her and I went shopping and to West Ed. We went out to eat at State and Main. We went to Kids Quarterz indoor playground. We ate poutine. It was such a great trip, and I'm so lucky to have the best sister ever!

Christmas Day and New Years Eve 2015

Not too many pictures from this day, I think we were too excited to remember! The girls woke up early. We opened stockings, it was a slow process for Rachel, and we found Tessa's unopened the next day, oops! We showered and fed baby while the girls watched Curious George A Monkey Christmas. Then we read Luke 2 and opened presents. We had a great Christmas this year and there were lots of gifts to open. Once we were done we had the traditional Christmas Brunch. So good. After naps we went to G+G Lamont's for Christmas dinner. Steve and his kids were there as well as Pam and her family.
The big gift for the girls was this doll house. I love it! It's a little too big for Rachel, but great for Macy and we hope will last for years!
Chris had the rest of the week off until after New Years. It was great to have him home and not travel anywhere (that said, I had a 1 month old, otherwise, it was a little weird not to travel). We did a lot of puzzles and watched movies. I got ice skates for Christmas, so we did go skating one day at Millennium Place.
I love these sleds for Rachel.
New Years Eve was busy for us. We went to a skating party in the afternoon. A family in our ward has a backyard pond and stream that we could skate on. The ice wasn't too great, but it was fun skating in nature. Then in the evening we went to the Fixsen's for a family party. It was great. There were activities on the hour for the kids, great appetizers, and then Chinese food. Chris and the girls went out with a bunch of them to catch some fireworks, while I stayed back with Rachel. When they got back the kids watched a movie while the adults played some games. We ended the night with a mock countdown and fancy drinks. I think we got home after 10 pm, a late night for us, but lots of fun!

Christmas Eve 2015

We had a relaxing Chirstmas Eve this year. Normally we go out swimming, or ice skating, but with a new babe, we stayed close to home. Rachel, Macy, and I did go out sledding in the backyard and had some winter fun.
 Goofy gals!
We had porcupines, fresh tray buns, and salad for dinner, with nanaimo bars for dessert.
Our Christmas Eve movie this year was Alladin, so we watched that, had baths, and got ready for bed. Both girls were good going to bed, they were excited for Santa!
Tessa, no Christmas cracker or goodies for her yet!

Macy's Kindergarten Christmas Concert 2015

Macy's Christmas concert was a Wednesday morning, and luckily Chris was able to make it too. We had fun watching what Macy and her class prepared and Macy had a great time too. Plus there was plenty of treats and refreshments!
Rachel and mom waiting for the program to start.
They sang three songs and recited one poem. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer was one of the songs, hence the antlers.
Below is Macy's class, and the other morning Kindergarten class. They all sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."
Santa visited and all the kids got books.
Below is Macy and one of her best buds Eli. She has told me more than once this is who she is going to marry.
