A Food Post

I just can't help taking pictures around good food.
A delicious BBQ burger from a week ago.
Hmmm, banana splits!

Missing My Yard

We've only been in Fort McMurray two days and I'm already missing my backyard. Macy asks about a million times a day to go for a walk, which really means, go outside and run around in the yard. I am working to keep her busy and occupied, but I don't know if it is helping.
Here I am enjoying our yard and fire pit.
These are the chairs I got from Grandma Cutts after their paint job. They used to be white and very rusty.
Oh yard, how I miss thee.

Mother's Day and Family

The Saturday before Mother's Day we had a fun time spent with lots of family. As some of you may know, Pam and Spencer and their little girl Paisley are up in Edmonton and living in our house for the summer. We headed over to Beaumont Saturday afternoon to hang out at Grandma and Grandpa's with Spencer and Paisley. Pam, Steven, Crystal, and baby Clark joined us for a relaxing dinner of pizza, salad, and veggies, with DQ ice cream banana splits for dessert. We spent Mother's Day at home, where Chris made chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese, with rice and mango salsa for dinner. We then had more DQ, an ice cream cake log for dessert.
Macy showing us her teeth, its the only way we can get a smile out of her for the camera.
 Handsome Clark at 6 weeks.
Paisley and those deep brown eyes.
Just wait till Christmas, when these three will be wreaking havoc!
Macy and her favorite pal, Grandpa Lamont.
Chillin' out after playing in the sun with some chocolate cheerios!
 Steve and Crystal.
 Pam and Spencer.
Grandma Lamont having fun with so many grandbabies around.

At Millennium Place

Once Chris finished his exams at the end of April we were happy to spend more time with him, especially while he had a two week break before he started work. We headed off to Millennium Place which is one of our favorite pools to go to. They have a great kid area with a slide and splash area, as well as a wave pool and lazy river. Macy had a ton of fun (despite the last picture, I don't know what that is all about), especially going down the slides and playing with the balls.
