In Comparison

When James came and we went to the Water Park he took pictures, so now you can finally see what all the hype's about!

An overview of the park.

This is their new "splash park" It has a large bucket that spills water over you and a bunch of other devices to splash water. It's meant for kids, but we had a great time too.

Chris and James....always trying to look tough!

The 'Screamer' and 'Nessie's Revenge' They two of my favorites.

Chris and I.

Aaahhh, happiness!

Live Action

Minneapolis Trip 2008

Part of our amazing trip to Minneapolis included going to Valley Fair and their waterpark. As a lover of waterparks, I had a great time. The tube rides were especially my favorite and the rapids one. We hit up the waterpark at the best time of the day when it was nice and sunny. The midway rides held there own too. I don't know if I had a particular favorite, but I loved all of the rollercosters. I have so many good pictures, and there were even more fun rides without pictures, so here's what you get. If we ever make it back to Minneapolis, I think we will be making it back to Valley Fair as well.

Tom, Julie, Richard, Dad, Mom, and Chris waiting in line. I was waiting with Eden. It was no sacrifice to skip a ride when you had Eden as a companion.

Chris and I on the Log ride, it was pretty tame.

The tower leading to the big tube ride. The guys loved this one cause with all their weight they really got going.

Richard coming down one of the slides.

Chris and me.

It was actually our one year anniversarry the day we went to Valley Fair, I'd say we celebrated pretty well!

In front of the last ride of the night, Steel Venom!!!

And finally some live action shots:

Happy Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Jill! Hope it's a good one!

Rock Star

Chris and I recently attended a 3 Doors Down concert with Staind and Hinder. It was Chris’ birthday present and his first concert experience. The whole time I was taking notes on how to improve my rock band performances, so just watch out cause I picked up some good stage tips!! All of the bands were really good so I didn’t have a favourite, but Chris’ was definitely Staind.

Tomorrow is my last day of work, so today we are having cheesecake to celebrate. It should be tasty.

Move along, move along...

So I guess I didn't tell everyone. We are moving just a couple of blocks away. We are going to be managing a small apartment complex, which means a nicer, bigger apartment and cheaper rent! Also some yardwork/shovelling and cleaning, but nothing crazy....at lease we hope!

Olympic Packing

It has been awhile since my last post and lots has happened. Our trip to Winnipeg and Minnieapolis was a great time and alot of fun. A more detailed post including pictures and of course the delicious meal we had at Tom and Julie's is to follow. In the mean time we have been very busy packing and watching the Olympics. CBC.ca has great live coverage so we just put it on in the evening while we pack. Mostly we've been watching the gymnastics which of course is my favorite. The packing is coming along. Who knew we had so much stuff??!! We're set to move tomorrow, so lets hope it goes smoothly.
