What have we been doing?

Yesterday I talked to James and he asked what we had been up to. I really had to think. I can't believe that it is already the end of June! We have both been busy with work. I feel like my evening are always busy with running, and some sort of church responsbility, or just grocery shopping. Last weekend though Chris went out with his Elders Quorm to one of their cabins. They camped overnight and did alot of water skiing. Chris had a great time and got to even out his very prominant farmers tan. It is still pretty drastic, maybe this Canada Day weekend we'll make it to the beach for some more sun. While Chris was out playing I spent the night with my old roommate Natasha. We went shopping, got frozen hot chocolates (one of my favorite summer treats), went swimming at her apartment pool, watched movies, had a sleepover, and made delicious apple pancakes for breakfast. It was a fun time. Chris and mine's first night apart since we were married, I think it went well.

So thats a little bit of what we have been up to. I'll try to keep this a little more regular. (Speaking of regular, Chris has finished the Bathroom Reader he got for Christmas. A couple weeks backs he picked up a bunch of free stuff from the town he works at, and one item was a complete set of the World Book Encyclopedia. Its a old edition, but it's all there. So now he has started reading the "A" book. We'll see how far he goes).

Electrical Blowout

I haven't had any strange or crazy things happen to me lately, so something was bound to happen soon. On Thursday morning I was blow drying my hair and getting ready for week. All of sudden my hair dryer starts to spark, one even landing on my leg, and the plastic casing and wiring completely melt. I was so shocked I threw the dryer across my bedroom. Luckly it had already died and there were no burn marks on the carpet. Pretty crazy though. And the worst part....my hair was only half dry!
