I'm slowly catching up, these are only from 2.5 weeks ago!
We had a great Easter weekend! Thursday was the start of spring break for Macy. Thursday night I dropped Macy and Rachel off with Grandma Lamont and they had a little sleepover there. Chris had Good Friday off and we took advantage and did some major spring cleaning as well as me finishing off our kitchen table (post to follow). The girls came back Friday evening. Saturday morning we painted eggs. All in all it went pretty well. We tried these new shrink wrap Frozen decorations, and they were pretty cool.
After naps we went bowling! Macy has been once before when she was 2.5 with Grandparents Cutts and cousins in Winnipeg, but didn't remember. Rachel LOVED it. She just loved grabbing a ball and throwing it down the lane, she didn't care what happened to her pins! It was a lot fun and we will repeat in the future.
Chris started off with a strike and was winning the whole game, until I got two strikes in a row right at the end and won!
After bowling we went to Red Robin's for dinner. The burgers were especially tasty and it was nice to be out. After I went to General Women's Conference with a few friends and Tessa which was lovely, plus we got delicious cheesecake refreshments!
The Easter bunny did fill our baskets and hide some eggs for the girls to find.
We went to church and then hosted Easter dinner at our place. Grandpa Lamont was sick, so Grandma Lamont came over as well as our friends the Fixsen's. We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, Grandma Lamont perogies, salad, cooked carrots, corn, and buns. We had Death by Chocolate for dessert. Like I said, it was a great weekend!
