Summer holidays took us to Headingley, MB for a few days to spend with Grandma and Grandpa Cutts, and then a few days out to Lake of the Woods. As always, we had a blast!
Stopped for a movement break outside Saskatoon, SK and enjoying the fresh air.
Back in the van and ready to roll.
The girls had a great time playing outside at Grandma and Grandpa's. We went to the park, spray park, Forks Market (Simon's Empanada's are always on the to do list in Winnipeg), and The Museum of Man and Nature (the Nonsuch boat was a hit as well as their visiting dinosaur exhibit).
We like to play the tourist as much as possible while visiting my hometown and it always makes for a fun trip. This year for date night Chris and I escaped and went to the Forks. After walking around a bit we hopped on the water bus. We stopped off around Osborne Village area and went for dessert before getting back on the water bus and heading back to the main docks at the Forks. I've never been on them before and it was lots of fun. Too bad we went at night as it got dark early and we missed a lot of the river views.
At Chocoberry Dessert House. Delicious!
