We left straight from the hotel in Minneapolis on Thursday morning to make our way to St. Louis, Missouri. This was a pretty straight forward travel day. We did stop for lunch in Waterloo, Iowa at Panera Bread. It was one of my favorite food stops. My sandwich and salad was delicious!

At the arch! Our hotel was just across the street. It was beautiful, the fanciest hotel I've ever been in, and quite possibly the cheapest too!

For just a travel day, it was pretty nice. Grandpa regaled us with stories of his parents and grandparents in the car, and some from his youth as well. Uncle Robin was a ladies man...but who's surprised there? Next day, onto to Birmingham!
